I am sad to report that I got my scores back for my ACT and didn't get a high enough score for my math to make it. So now I am Struggling to get another test in time, I'm stressed out, and most of all I am disappointed in myself. I understand that it has been 6 years since I've taken the math test, but I don't know I just feel like I've let myself and my family down.

Ahh sweet success. My application to the COE is turned in and my test has been taken. Now I can focus on my art while I wait for my results. (5-8 weeks) On the half full side of this I have started my geometric wall designs and will have pictures up next week :) yayyy

So far the school year has been cruel to me. One week in and I already feel like I'm going to rip out all of my hair. I have struggled with getting all of my information for my application to the COE together and in order, and now that I finally have it all I can't seem to find an advisor with an open appointment time. In all honesty I cant for this week to be over so that I can have my app turned in and my retake for the act over. In other news I have been gathering different pictures for inspiration for my wood projects and will have those images up soon!!( Don't we all love Pinterest) I'm also enjoying learning the ins and outs of photo shop, I feel like is only going to get more and more beneficial. So happy Wednesday my friends and may your weeks be over as quickly as I hope mine to be, wish me luck!

Welcome to my blog!

I'm Amber, I am an Art Student at GVSU, looking to complete my degree in Art Education. My passion is wood and that is why wood sculpting is my emphasis. I enjoy making things in 3d forms so I can really dig my hands into my work. I am currently working on some repurposed flooring designs in the form of wall art or even tables. I always knew I wanted to work with kids and I have found that art has always been an outlet for me and my emotions. That is why I chose Art Ed as my career path.
